      Meet our Chairman & Secretary

      Chairman
      Pastor Trevor Herbert
      Trevor Herbert is a former senior executive and company director who opted for full-time pastoral ministry in the year 2000. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (University of South Africa, cum laude), a diploma in theology (AFM of SA Theological College, cum laude) as well as a certificate in company direction from Carl Duisberg Geselschaft in Germany. Currently he serves as a pastor in the Apostolic Faith Mission (AFM of SA), one of the largest denominations in South Africa (1.4 million members). He leads a multi-site church in Cape Town (3000 members) and also oversees another 50 local churches in the city. The AFM of SA has a footprint in Africa, Asia and Australia as well as parts of Europe and the USA. Trevor is also involved at an executive /advisory level in a number of local and global ecumenical initiatives, among other Western Cape Ecumenical Network (WCEN), Cape Town For Jesus (CT4J) Ekklesia (At Stellenbosh University) and Movement Day (Africa). A native of his beautiful city, Cape Town, Trevor is a father of three children, two sons-in-law and grandfather of two grandsons. He is married to his wife Moira (a retired nurse) for 37 years. The family resides in the northern suburbs of Cape Town. His hobbies include reading, writing, traveling, public speaking, property investment and playing very poor golf.

      Apostle Oscar Hoffmeester
      Apostle Oscar Hoffmeester is a beloved pastor and leader who has dedicated his life to serving his community in Cape Town and spreading the word of God both locally and internationally. Born in 1964 in Cape Town South Africa, he grew up in a family of devout Christians who instilled in him deep faith and commitment to helping others. After earning his Theological degree at Shalom Community College and Business Degree at Stellenbosch University, Apostle Oscar began his career as a successful Entrepreneur. He later founded and pioneered Victory Kingdom Church in the year 2000, where he serve in his current position as the Senior Pastor. Over the years, he has earned a reputation as an compassionate and inspiring leader, known for his powerful revelatory sermons, inspirational songs, marriage enrichment seminars, leadership development training and tireless efforts to help those in need. He serves as the Dean of Victory Kingdom Bible School , the secretary of the Cape Town for Jesus movement and a Board member of the Cape network of Pastors. He is also the founder of Feed the Children Foundation , where they feed 1500 children per week in their disadvantage community. Apostle Oscar is also the author of several books and has written & composed more than 100 Praise & Worship Songs. His latest book “Cycle Breakers” have become one of the most sought after development material. He is a prolific International Speaker, Preacher, Song Writer, Psalmist, Entrepreneur, Motivational speaker and a community builder. When he is not ministering to his Congregation, Apostle Oscar enjoys spending time with his wife Daphne, with whom he is married for 35 years, his two son and two grandchildren. He loves, reading, swimming, golfing, camping and fishing. He is a true inspiration to all who know him, and his unwavering dedication to his faith and his community makes him a true role model.
